John Whitaker Goodspeed, Jr. age 67, of Ocala, died Saturday September 1, 2012 at home. He was born on February 5, 1945 in Grand Rapids, Michigan. He was a member of the VFW, had a pilots license and enjoyed shooting guns, and photography. He leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife of 20 years Sherry, step son Howard Steele of Ocala, step daughter Theresa (Dave) Miller of Ocala, brother David (Becky) Goodspeed and their children Nick, Ben and Molly of East Grand Rapids, MI, seven grandchildren and four great grand children. Cremation arrangements have been entrusted to Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Ocala, FL.
