Cherry, Mrs. James McKinnon, aka "Tin Star Lilly" passed away Saturday, August 25th, at the age of 61. Cherry is survived by her husband, Jim McKinnon of Fredericksburg; 2 sons: Brandon Wallin & Robb Wallin, both of Austin; 2 step-sons: Chad McKinnon & wife Amber of Marble Falls, Casey McKinnon & wife Monica of Harper; sister, Pebble Moss & husband John of Tulsa, OK; niece Cindi McCarty & husband John & their girls Austin, Elie & Charlotte.

Cherry was born April 7, 1951, in Austin, TX, to Leon & Bess Northington Stone. Cherry graduated from Stephen F. Austin High School in 1969. She attended Gulf Park College in Mississippi & Southwestern University in Georgetown. She was a member of Central Presbyterian Church while in Austin & attended Hill Country Evangelical Free Church in Fredericksburg.

Funeral services for Cherry McKinnon will be 10 AM, Thursday, August 30th, in Hill Country Evangelical Free Church, with Rev. Pat Brown officiating. Graveside services will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. A memorial service will be held 2 PM, Thursday at Tin Star Ranch.
