Gerald Taylor Beasley, age 78, a resident of Rio Rancho, NM, departed this life on Sunday, November 17, 2019. There are numerous words that come to mind when you describe Gerald’s character, but a cowboy at heart is most suiting. He was involved with SASS, and NRA. He was preceded in death by his father and mother, Thurman and Tommye Beasley; two sisters, Freda Stroud and Violet Jacobson; and one brother, Glenn Beasley. Gerald is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Phyllis; two daughters; 1 granddaughter; and 3 nephews. Services will be held at Covenant United Methodist Church in Albuquerque, on Wednesday, December 4, 2019. A Visitation will begin at 10:30 a.m., with a Funeral Service to be celebrated at 11:00 a.m. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital. Arrangements are being handled by the caring professionals at the Noblin Funeral Service Belen Chapel, 418 W.
