SALEM-Keith M. Howell, 63, of 15345 Garfield Road, Salem, Ohio, died at 5:47 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 29, 2011, at the Salem Community Hospital.

He was born June 4, 1948 in Alliance, the son of the late Ford and Ruth (Morrow) Howell.

Mr. Howell was the owner/operator of the Auto Body and Fastener Supply for 35 years. He was a Southeast High School graduate and a member of the Sebring United Methodist Church. Keith was also a member of the 78 Pennsylvania Civil War Group, a member of the Colt Collector's Club, enjoyed collecting civil war memorabilia, cowboy action shooting, model trains and boating.

His wife, Donna (Spirko) Howell, whom he married June 28, 1969, survives him along with a son, Lance Howell of Salem; a brother, Ford (Christine) Howell Jr. of Kirtland, Ohio; and his dog, Prince.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Stark Memorial Funeral Home.

Calling hours will be held from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the services. Burial will be at Hartzell Cemetery.
