LAKEMOOR – Jerry Lameka of Lakemoor passed away Tuesday, June 12, 2012, at home.
Jerry was a lifetime member of the NRA and loved anything that had to do with guns or fishing. An avid shooter, Jerry shot competitively for many years. He was also a rare weapons and knives collector. Jerry lived around the McHenry area his entire life and was considered the protector of his street. Residing in Lakemoor for most of his life, he opened many businesses and made many friends in the area.
He is survived by his longtime fiancé, Donna Powers, and his daughter, Rebecca. He is also survived by four brothers, Bob, Jim, Bill and Wally; and one sister, Joan.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Josephine and Walter Lameka.
A celebration of life memorial will be from noon to 4 p.m. Saturday, June 23, at the Moose Lodge, 3535 N. Richmond Road, Johnsburg.
