Devoted father to Jenny Lynn Dillard of Oakland. Beloved son of Raymond Dillard of Lakeport. Preceded in death by his mother Oleta Dillard in 1993. Dear brother of Don Dillard of Fairfield, Judy Stevens of OK, and Sue Dillard of Lakeport. Cherished nephew of Esther Hutchins of Castro Valley. Caring uncle to Stacy Lynn Costa of Hollister. Also survived by many other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
Born October 16, 1954 in Napa, Rick was a peace officer for U.C. Berkeley Police Department for 32 years. He was a member of the Police Officer's Association, the Single Action Shooting Society, and a proud member of the National Rifle Association. He is a descendent of the Choctaw Nation of Oklahoma and is a Mason of California. Visitation will be held on Saturday, July 31, from 10-11am followed by a chapel service at 11am at Fremont Memorial Chapel, 3723 Peralta Blvd., Fremont, 94536.
