Mr Nayrex Franklin Barnhardt, 69, of Mocksville, died Monday Jan. 28, 2018, at the W. G. Hefner VA Medical Center in Salisbury.
He was born July 11, 1948, in Rowan county, to Minnie Lee Howard Barnhardt and the late Baxter Paul Barnhardt.
He was a graduate of Davie High School class of 1966, had attended Davidson Community College in Wilkes County and Appalachian State University.
Mr Barnhardt was a veteran of the U.S.Army having served during the Vietnam War.
He was retired from Ingersoll-Rand. Mr. Barnhardt enjoyed playing golf, hunting, collecting cares and was a member of S.A.S.S.
