Bob was a loving and loyal husband, father, brother, and a good friend to many. He loved and cared for many neighborhood refugee cats. He was an avid supporter of the Sunnyside Blue Devils football program and continued to be long after his youngest son Sean graduated. Bob enjoyed all forms of shooting sports and was a NRA Life member (Endowment), as well as with the Single Action Shooting Society. Robert aka Bob Two Toes, or in some circles The Brass Buzzard, was a Director for a time on the board of Los Vaqueros in Tucson. When it wasn’t his turn to work on a posse, he was bent over picking up spent lead and brass. When he was given a 5 gal. bucket of used shotgun wads as a gag, he never batted an eye and just put them in his truck. He touched all he came in contact with in a unique way.
He enjoyed working on all types of vehicles, particularly his Ford Mustang. Bob is survived by his wife Kathy aka Bisbee Kate; son Sean aka Barbed Wire Kid, son David, and grandson, Connor. Granddaughter Kendra and Deven; sisters Kathy and Deanna; brothers Walt, Clay, and Kenneth; Marine Corp brother Mike Robinson; numerous nieces and nephews; and many members of his extended family along with his Cowboy family.
A celebration of his life was held Saturday, August 30 at 10am, South Lawn Mortuary & Cemetery. As fitting, his remains are held in an ammo can with his beloved Corp emblem and Ford Mustang emblem.
Rest in peace Bob, We hope there is a lot of loose brass in Heaven for you.
