Donald W. Seely, 55, a gunsmith, passed away Friday, Jan. 23, 2009, at an Azle hospital.
Funeral: 10:30 a.m. Tuesday January 27, in Biggers Funeral Chapel. Visitation: 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Biggers Funeral Home.
Don was born Feb. 3, 1953, in Fort Worth and had been a lifelong area resident. He was a licensed police officer and served 10 years as an officer and later police chief for the town of Lakeside. He was a life member of S.A.S.S. No. 32918, a.k.a. Azle Parker.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Jewel May, and a grandson, Brandon Lee Davenport.
Survivors: Wife, Chris Seely; son, Phillip Seely and wife, Tana; daughters, Susie Primm and husband, Alex, Amy Ray and husband, Billy, and Ruth Day and husband, Perry; grandchildren, Tylor "Opie," Rebeka "Reba," Rachel "Rachy," Courtney, Caitlyn, Jewel, Colton "Cowboy Twister" and Donald "Biscuit"; father, Jack Seely and wife, Estelle; brother, Terry Seely; sisters, Peggy, Pat and Barbara; adopted wife, Melinda and her husband, Buddy, and their son, Jaron; many beloved nieces, nephews, in-laws; and a large extened CAS family.
