On December 7, 2007, Wilfred Wheatstraw (AKA Dave Holliman) suffered a heart attack and died.  He was a retired Lieutentant with 30 years of service with the Gwinnett County Police Department.  He spent his short retirement cowboy shooting, playing golf and fulfilling his duties as Chief Cook at deer camp.  Wilfred always had a joke and a helping hand.  He never met a stranger and was a good pard to ride the river with.  As per his wishes, Wilfred was buried in his best cowboy suit.  He was 61 years old and he will be sorely missed.
