IMy friend and saddle pard, Willis Palmer, "Oso Loco", passed away Wednesday night November 19th, and went home to be with our Lord.
Since his retirement, he had been searching for something fun and diverting... he found Cowboy Shooting and jumped into it with both feet.
He shot with the local clubs in the Raleigh, and Rocky Mount area of North Carolina.  He liked nothing better than to talk with visitors, telling them about SASS and the different ways of shooting, the categories and the guns.
He considered all his shooting pards his friends, he truly enjoyed their company.
(By the way, he didn't post on the Wire.  But he read it avidly and kept up with all the new threads.  Makes me think that there are a lot of others that read what is going on, the good and the bad, the dead horses, but don't chime in.)

Will was a true westerner, born and raised in Ray, AZ... a town that doesn't exist anymore.
