Michael (Morgan James) Zynski, Jr., age 60, of Camp Hill, died at his residence on October 21, 2013. He was born in Easton, PA on June 14, 1953. He was the son of the late Michael and Mabel Hannah (Boehle) Zynski, Sr. Michael was a graduate of Penn State University with a BS in English and a minor in Film. He was a member of Alpha Phi Fraternity, Chi Chapter. He was a member of the Scottish Rite Masons of the Cumberland Star Lodge, #197, F&AM, the Shriner's of Harrisburg, the Ickesburg Sportsman's Club, the Single Action Shooting Society and The West Shore Posse, where he was known as Morgan James. Michael also belonged to the 8th Air Force Society of Great Britain and The Gardner Guards Drum and Bugle Corps, Tyrone. He was an accomplished trumpet and bugle player.

  He belonged to the 7th Pennsylvania Volunteer Reserve Corps. While at university, he worked as a guide at the Gettysburg Battlefield. Michael recently retired as Director of Security at the ICP.

  Based in Mechanicsburg, PA. He was also a US Army Veteran serving during the Vietnam era.

  He is survived by his wife of 31 years, Starr Frances (Copper Starr) (Adams) Zynski of Camp Hill. Also a sister, Linda Smith of Huntingdon, PA, a step-son, Ken Wilson II of Nashville, TN, a step-daughter, Kelly Conrad of Dacula, Georgia and grandchildren, Megan and Nichole Wilson, Alexis Conrad and Jessica and Angelina Uss. A celebration of Michael's life will be held Thursday, October 24, 2013 at 6:30 pm at Hoffman-Roth Funeral Home at 219 N. Hanover Street, Carlisle, PA 17013. A viewing will be held from 4:30 until the time of the service at the funeral home. A Masonic Service will be held prior to the beginning of the Celebration of Life service.
