We lost James too early on May 10th, 2007.  James started his SASS career with the alias Jackyl.  Jackyl tended to be quite a bit darker than the J.C. we all came to know.  When he became J.C. Holliday he blossomed into the man we all knew and loved.  Although J.C. was a phenomenal shooter, (he was the 2005 Utah State Champion and the 2007 National Champion in Frontier Cartridge) he was mostly known for his cheery smile, his self-deprecating humor, his selfless coaching of champions and new shooters alike, and his knowledge of gun repair (even though he once used a sledge hammer on a Norinco 97).  He was also known for his “How are you today, young lady?” to all the ladies young AND old.

J.C. you are missed by many friends…more than you ever realized you had.
